Kilcarreg is a very comfortable, well-equipped and conveniently-located property for a small family or small group holiday in North Cornwall - and less than an hour from the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan etc..

The owners were very helpful and the house was lovely and comfortable with everything that was needed.. There was plenty of space in house and garden so we could be on our own or together as a family. Also there’s so much to do in the area and we had good weather. Rock is a lovely village and we can recommend the bakery, the deli and the fish and chips! Everyone was very friendly and we enjoyed walking along the beautiful coast and beaches, swimming, kayaking, cycling and visiting places of interest.

Kilcarreg was the best holiday rental we have ever had (and we've had lots over the years! ). The house was huge, clean, warm, comfy and extremely well equipped. We loved the garden, which was perfect for hide and seek with the grandchildren. The house is also close to some excellent shops to top up on provisions, and there are lots of interesting Public footpaths which we enjoyed exploring. We always enjoy a trip on the ferry to Padstow, and have pasties for lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay with our family. Thank you excellent service.

What an amazing cottage expected to be impressed with the property but not to the extent we were - the cottage had everything you could possibly want and more to help you enjoy your holiday and make you feel totally at home.. The locality is perfect to explore all of Cornwall we did from top to bottom, East to West. The local chip shop is well worth a visit and portions are plentiful. The Pityme Inn is another place to visit and only round the corner. Will look forward to returning here at another time and will not hesitate to recommend to our family and friends

We had a wonderfully relaxing break at this beautiful well-equipped cottage.. The standard of the accommodation was exceptional. Cleanliness and comfort second to none. The location was fantastic, close to so many lovely beaches, and a short ferry trip away from Padstow. Even in February the cottage was warm and inviting. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again, thank you.

Although booked through Sykes, our hosts deserve a special mention.. The house was fantastic - quiet, beautifully kept and fully equipped. From arranging the key to sorting little issues, they were always available and made every effort to make the holiday as pleasant as possible. Would definitely recommend.
