Keep Cottage is a modern, mid-terrace cottage situated down a quiet street in the corner of Pickering. The cottage can sleep six people in three bedrooms, including a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, a twin and a single with a pull-out stacker bed. The property also houses a second bathroom, a fitted kitchen with dining area and a separate sitting room with a cosy woodburning stove. Outside the property is roadside parking and an enclosed, lawned garden with furniture on a patio area. Keep Cottage is perfect for exploring the wonderful town of Pickering and the North York Moors.

Three bedrooms: 1 x double with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x twin, 1 x single. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Sitting room with woodburning stove.

The historic market town of Pickering, with its full range of amenities, traditional shops, pubs and restaurants, serves as the official gateway to the beautiful North York Moors National Park. Enjoy a ride on the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway, while walkers will be spoilt for choice by the rolling hills, valleys, rivers and abundant wildlife of the National Park. The City of York and the Heritage Coast are just half an hour’s drive. All in all, a wonderful setting for a relaxing holiday.

Absolutely beautiful cottage, the owners were very helpful in providing information where to walk and eat,very clean and tidy great location,easy to walk to pickering itself in 5 mins.. There are place not far from Pickering ,like Scarborough, Filey also some stunning small villages to visit,all in all a great break.

Beautiful cottage within walking distance of the town and castle.. Clean and comfortable with everything you need for a week away from home. The conservatory is a lovely bonus. Owners are great and checked everything was ok via text following our arrival which was a nice touch. Felt entirely safe during these unusual times (Covid-19). Would definitely recommend this cottage and will definitely return again.

Our stay at Keep Cottage was lovely.. More than enough space for the 5 of us with the 2 bathrooms, large conservatory and kitchen diner.The cottage is well equipped and prompt contact from the owners when needed. The garden was also an added bonus. Its location is near town and great for lovely country walks.Would highly recommend a stay here.

Keep Cottage is charming and situated in a great location.. Although only a five minute walk into the town of Pickering it is lovely and quiet in the cottage. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds comfy. The garden was great for our little dog to potter around in and completely secure so she couldn't get out. The views from the garden are stunning and it is very sheltered. The milk in the fridge and selection of nice biscuits was very welcome when we arrived. We have had a lovely holiday and will be back again soon.

The cottage in a beautiful town, was ideal for a relaxing break, and yet still gave us plenty to do.. The cottage is roomy and and has all you could ask for. In a quiet road leading to Pickering castle, and a short walk to shops, pubs and the steam railway. We will certainly return to Keep cottage, and one of the most enjoyable holidays we have had.

Having holidays with Sykes before we knew the standards would be high and we were not disappointed.. The Cottage was lovely and clean and comfortable. It was in an ideal location within five minute walk to the village where there was a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. We could walk out the front door and straight onto a lovely walk round the castle and through the woods which was ideal for our spaniel. We spent a lovely day in Scarborough and Whitby and did lots of walks nearby. We can particularly recommend The Black Swan Pub, The White Swan and the Willowgate Bistro - all great food and especially recommend Willowgate for their steaks!! Also the afternoon tea at the Middleton Tea Parlour nearby is recommended. We look forward to spending more time in Keep Cottage Pickering in the future. Trish & Ronnie Lunt

Well-equipped, comfortable and warm cottage in quiet location next to the castle but within short walking distance of the town centre.. Easy parking outside the front door. Having two bathrooms was an added bonus. We would definitely come back - probably in the spring/summer when we could enjoy the conservatory and the beautiful garden and more of the excellent walks from the door.

Lovely comfortable cottage,warm and cosy.. Easy 5 minute walk into centre of Pickering. 3 dog friendly pubs , we used the Bay Horse. Hourly bus services to Whitby , Scarborough and York. We really enjoyed our week at Keep Cottage.

Pickering is a great base for trips out to the coast, Dalby forest, York etc and having Pickering Castle and the NYMR on the doorstep was great for our two adventurous boys.
