Hope is a pretty Peak District village in the Hope Valley, close to some great walking country. Set amongst the beautiful rolling hills of the Peak District National Park, the village has a railway station, village pubs serving food, a general store, shops and galleries to explore. Enjoy an action-packed break with caving, climbing, and great walks right from your doorstep, or a quiet countryside break in this beautiful part of the Peaks. The Winnats Pass in Castleton is a delight for walkers, cyclists, and motorists alike. The pretty villages of Edale, Castleton and Hathersage, with their seasonal outdoor swimming pool, are all within 3 miles, as are the wonderful Castleton Caves. Visit Alton Towers or Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. Buxton, Matlock Bath, and Carsington Water are all nearby, as are Ashbourne and Leek.
