Cot Valley Cottage is a contemporary detached cottage with a beautiful interior between the coast and the ancient town of St Just. With accommodation on one level, the property sleeps two people and has one bedroom with king size bed, a shower room and open plan living accommodation which incorporates a kitchen, dining and sitting area. Outside is a delightful terrace beside a stream, overlooking a stunning National Trust Owned Architectural Heritage Site. Cot Valley Cottage is a romantic retreat for couples looking to escape and unwind.

All ground floor. One bedroom: 1 x king-size bed. Shower room with basin and W.C. Open-plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

Area
St Just is the nearest town to Land’s End and is situated approximately eight miles west of Penzance. The town itself is an ancient settlement that has a strong mining history and there are several monuments and prehistoric antiquities to visit including the Bronze Age settlement at Cape Cornwall. St Just is ideally located for visitors to explore the far west of Cornwall as it is situated on the edge of the moors and close to the beautiful north coast.

Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.

In relation to Cot Valley cottage, the standard was very high - it was spotlessly clean, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped.. Lovely cottage, peaceful and relaxing.. The owner was very welcoming and left lots of useful information. Despite all the lovely restaurants in the area it was so relaxing and comfortable we ate in most of the time.

Perfect location for a complete getaway.. Situated next to the fast running River Cot with stunning view of National Trust Heritage site on the opposite bank, Cot. Valley Cottage is beautifully designed and equipped. Plenty of storage space and every comfort provided. Wonderful welcome hamper and warm welcome from hostess Alex. Cottage situated next to SW Coastal Path and numerous other footpaths to sites of historical interest. We enjoyed fabulous coastal walks in all weathers and cosy mornings/afternoons in . A delightful venue for two weeks absolute ‘chill’. Thank you Alex and Alec - we’ll be back.

Cot Valley Cottage is nestled in the valley next to a stream only 10 minutes walk from Porth Nanven beach and a 15 minute stroll into St Just.. It is beautifully decorated and furnished and is perfect for any couple looking to get away from it all. Wild life, spectacular scenery and the Coast Path are literally on your doorstep. If the weather permits, sitting eating on the patio with the sound of the brook rushing past below is an absolute delight.

The situation of this cottage is excellent, within easy walking distance of the lovely Porth Nansen, short driving distance of St Just And the Mining Heritage Coast.. Longer driving took us to most of the sites of Cornwall. The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday

We really enjoyed staying at Cot Valley Cottage.. It is perfectly situated for anyone who wants to leave the car parked for a week and wants to walk the South West Coastal Path. St Just is only a 15 minute walk up the lane (past the Llamas) for all your grocery needs. There is also a very good chippy in the square. The cottage is extremely well designed, beautifully furnished and has everything you need. Alex and Alec gave us a very warm welcome. They are very thoughtful and genuinely want you to have a good stay. The sea and one of the best sunsets in the country is only a 10 minute walk down the unspoilt Cot Valley. The area has lots of wildlife especially Cornish Choughs, Kestrels and buzzards. If you are lucky you can see the bats as you walk back up the valley after sunset. We spent a week here and really enjoyed it and would not hesitate to go back.

The cottage was exceptional, very well equipped , clean and comfortable.. We were given a welcome hamper which was wonderful .All items in cottage were of a very high standard .It is a quiet and relaxing location .The owners are welcoming and friendly and extremely helpful without ever being intrusive. A fabulous cottage.. The location is stunning and the cottage had everything we needed to relax in comfort and style. We loved that we could easily join the coastal path and enjoy long (or short) walks, but also had easy access to St Just with good pubs and lovely shops and galleries.

A lovely cottage, beautifully presented, in an lovely location.. The only problem is that if one arrives back from a wet or muddy walk, there is not really anywhere to put coats and dirty boots etc.
