Very nice cottage and a good central location to visit Northumberland.. The Kitching is very well equipped and the large bathroom is excellent. Overall the décor and furnishings are high standard. The access road is narrow but there is plenty of room on the front for a family hatchback. The owners are friendly and helpful.

Think you should make people aware of narrow street and tight turning for parking

Amble itself is a lovely village.. A great location for visiting many historic sites. The owners of the cottage, have obviously thought long and hard about the needs of their guests,as there is everything there that you could possibly need.

Offroad parking is important to us and we did park on the forecourt of the cottage, but the road is very narrow & the forecourt very small so parking was quite difficult.. The parking sensors had to work overtime! A larger car than ours would not have fitted. There was mention of parking at rear of property (though not on bin day) but the alleyway was again very narrow and filled with bins so not really an option. Parking on the street would have been very difficult as cars were parked everywhere, down both sides of the road and on the corners. Finding a nearby space would have been a bit of a lottery.

Ideally situated for visiting the Northumberland coast, in a friendly coastal location.. Canny Cottage was well equipped & very comfortable. Because of the narrow street & our large car, the parking was a challenge, but achievable.

The cottage was excellent, well furnished and comfortable.. In a good location. The only downside from our point of view was my wife found the stairs a bit steep (having had both a knee and hip replacement) ,but otherwise we could not fault it.

Beautifully renovated terraced cottage with amazing big bathroom and more spacious downstairs than the photos suggest.. Amble is very down to earth really (we like that!) but the cottage added a bit of luxury. Wonderful owners who went the extra mile to be helpful, even when our kids caused a couple of mishaps!

The cottage was first class and handy for the sea front and shops.. Despite being surrounded by other properties it was amazingly quiet and had the advantage of decent off street parking. We very much enjoyed both the cottage and the interesting town of Amble.

We loved Canny Cottage.. It is very well equipped and presented to a very high standard. It is warm, light, spacious and beautifully furnished. It feels like home when you return from a day out. The location is really peaceful but within a couple of minute’s walk to the Main Street in Amble. We have already re-booked Canny Cottage for 2019.

The availability of a parking space is a definite bonus as the surrounding streets are very busy.. The parking space is quite tight to get into so you do need to be on top of your reversing skills otherwise an exceptional cottage.

This was a really lovely house.. Extremely clean and comfortable as well as being very well equipped. It was very well placed for getting out and about without having to use the car all the while. Lovely walks, Nature reserves on the doorstep and Amble has a lovely holiday feel.
