This is a really lovely lodge, it has everything you need for a holiday in it plus some extra decorative touches.. The location is peaceful, near some fantastic beaches and scenery. The landlord is very helpful and the whole trip was better than we could have ever imagined.

High Tide lodge is a beautiful and well equipped lodge with everything you could need for your holiday.. It was spotlessly clean. It’s in peaceful surroundings but with facilities round the corner if you want to use them. It was also a perfect base for using Rock’s dog friendly and gorgeous beach and many other beautiful places to explore along the coastline.

We have been to this lodge on three occasions now and we love it.. Its a lovely area, the lodge is very well equiped and furnished to a high standard. It is very quiet too. We are happy to recommend to anyone wanting a super location in the Rock/Polzeath area.

The Lodge had more room and facilities than expected.. From spare batteries for the TV remote (not needed) to washer dryer, from dog balls to spare pillows. There was a place for everything and everything in its place. The site was clean and well run. Ideally situated to visit local towns, popular and quiet beaches, dog walks and West Coast Footpaths. Plenty of places to eat and drink although the lodges are well equipped enough to produce a family meal. Would recommend this lodge and look forward to returning in the future.

High Tide was a fantastic base for our holiday.. Every thing that we could ever need and more were included in this lovely property. We enjoyed our walks along the beach from Rock to Portreath. We had a fantastic walk along the coastal path to Port Isaac, we visited Padstow once by road and once on the ferry from Rock. We also visited Mevagissy and the Lost Gardens of Heligan which were absolutely brilliant. Another day we did a coastal walk to Tintagel and later visited Bude which is lovely seaside town. All these places were in easy reach of High Tide. It was so nice to come home late in the afternoon to the warmth and comfort at High Tide. We hope to be back and have already started to tell out friends about it.

I think High Tide was easily the best equipped holiday cottage we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in quite a few.. ...). The beds were extremely comfortable; our 11 year old grandson loved having his own bathroom, and an en-suite to the main bedroom was very nice. The living area was extremely spacious, light and airy. A couple of small points for the maintenance team (they are NOT complaints, merely comments) - the mirror light in the en-suite bathroom does not work and the mother/daughter standard light in the living area needs a new bulb for the daughter light. The whole area is extremely quiet and peaceful, and we liked the fact that the shop/swimming pool etc. were close by, but far enough away not to mean there were loads of people wandering about in 'our' part of the site. The location is good, too. Only a couple of miles from Rock or Polzeath and loads of other places to visit within easy driving distance. Excellent all round - we were only there for three nights, but would have been happy to stay longer.

An exceedingly comfortable well equipped lodge, set in a quiet setting, with swimming pool, shop, club house etc within a short walk, but cannot be seen or heard from the lodge.. There is a lot of up to date information on places to visit and walks in the area, with good eatery recommendations - the owner has obviously thought of everything you could need to make for an enjoyable stay. Don't expect Wifi in the lodge, but it is freely available in the restaurant, so be prepared for this!

This property is on a very tranquil site,it is large and spacious inside and lots of room externally for soaking up the sun.. The facilities that are within the complex are good, swimming pool, shop, etc. Not too far from all of the seaside villages worth looking at,Padstow,Boscastle,Tintagel,Polzeath and Bude. The Arthurian Centre is not too far away,a must for the kids.
