Outside, you will find ample road side parking and a small garden area with seating. Garden Cottage is a wonderful base for a romantic getaway or a small family break.

The town of Castle Douglas can be found within the southwest of Scotland, in the Dumfries and Galloway region. It is known as a ‘food town’, with a good selection of restaurants, pubs and food shops to explore. From here you will have access to Solway Coast, with its miles of beautiful beaches, or hop on a boat to explore Threave Castle, perched on an island in the River Dee.
