La petite Iroise

The garden has to be shared with the neighboring house. Their conservatory is right in front of the terrace, so you're practically looking at each other's dinner plates. When the neighbors' dogs are in the conservatory, they start barking immediately. The overgrown garden is unusable. The house was so full of mosquitoes and vermin that the nights were almost unbearable. Based on the thousands of stains on the walls, this is a persistent problem.

When we arrived, there were cobwebs everywhere and the kitchen and windows were sticky and dirty, so we had to clean thoroughly. Behind the broken couch (the backrest was broken off) we found the dirt from the last few years. There is a TV, but only French channels are available. The deck chairs mentioned in the advertisement were also not there. The toilet is so narrow that anyone over 1.60m tall has problems sitting on the toilet.

A beautiful little house, well located and quiet, the nearby street is barely audible. The garden is unloved, a rough meadow shared with the large house next door, with a rusty table, two broken stools, a broken canopy over the front door. The interior has potential, but unfortunately it was extremely dirty when we arrived, the bathroom was disgusting. The chair cushions were broken and stained, there was mold in most of the kitchen cupboards, pots and plates were dirty, etc. More care and this would be a dream house...

We spent a beautiful, relaxing week, in peace and quiet, near the stove. The place is peaceful to recharge your batteries and take in the sea air.
