La Pinéde Erdeven, Brittany

We spent a very nice week with 2 families in this house. Spacious and pleasant living room with open kitchen. Scullery with washing machine, dryer and very practical bins. Decent sized bedrooms upstairs, and nice suite downstairs. Bedding fine. Too bad you have to collect and return the keys to Carnac. It lacks a garden table for 8. And chairs rather than benches would be more comfortable inside.

The house has been largely renovated, not yet completely finished. Large, beautiful garden, unfortunately missing a garden table. Only a stone bench and table provided, not suitable to have the meal here. The Wifi is a Travel Wifi, is slow, updating apps does not work. Is too expensive for the function. Description is incorrect: Smoke detectors are missing, 3 cooking zones on the induction hob instead of 4, no double sink but 1 single downstairs and upstairs, the hot water tap does not work in the bath.

The photos are realistic. Renovation of the interior very expensive, mostly completed and very clean. A large closet shown in the exposé could not be used, a chest of drawers and a shelf in another closet had to be cleaned before moving in. Outdoor area in front of the house: among other things not yet connected power cable, no lighting, access to the house through a centimeter deep bark mulch, table in the garden cannot be used because the benches are too low.

A real holiday home, lots of greenery, healthy air, soberly furnished with a sense of beauty. Close to the village with restaurants, cafes, bakery(s), butcher shop and supermarket. Two kilometers from a guarded (surfers) beach, with a nose on menhirs and dolmens.

This house is really beautifully situated on the main road between the bushes. At first glance it is really great. Large garden at the front and rear. Beautiful house. But when we opened the door, it smelled like sewer and that has actually only gotten worse. When it was no longer tenable, we called, but they said no. Furthermore, the beds are good. Enough space. There is little to do for kids. No internet range for the evenings. Sea close by!

According to the agency, we were the first guests. Thus, the equipment in the kitchen was rather inadequate. But the agency delivered everything after feedback. Unfortunately the description was not entirely accurate, the house is not completely fenced in which was a challenge because of the dog. There is only a small wall facing the street, so we couldn't leave him without a leash. But otherwise nice house, very clean. Heating not working, but fireplace available.
