Rosewall is a recently refurbished cottage in the heart of the ancient hamlet of Trowan. Set close to the coast and just a stone’s throw from the popular seaside town of St Ives.
This gorgeous barn conversion, lies within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is surrounded by farmland, and has views of the Atlantic Ocean in the distance. With ground floor open plan living, traditional slate floors a well-equipped kitchen, large dining table and two comfortable first floor double bedrooms and the luxury of a bath to soak in, you cannot go wrong. Here, peace and plenty are assured with a lovely, enclosed sea facing rear garden; you can walk to nearby St Ives with its plethora of restaurants, beach bars and galleries not to mention fabulous beaches.
Your dog is welcome at Rosewall, making it the perfect winter retreat for cliff walks and relaxation in front of the roaring wood-burner. Zennor, with the Tinner’s Arms, and nearby, the Gurnard’s Head, are a stomp along the coastal path in the opposite direction, both offer fabulous pub grub and are good places to rest before heading home to your gorgeous cottage. The cottage sleeps up to four people in two double bedrooms, both with views across open moorland to the sea. The second bedroom can be noisy in windy conditions due to the exposed setting of Trowan. The hamlet is situated at the end of a farm lane and has parking for 2 cars. 3 night minimum bookings.
