Having holidayed together for nearly 20 years without husbands my friend and I have stayed in many holiday cottages and The Studio was possibly the cleanest we have stayed in.. The cottage had a good feel to it and the size of the well-equipped kitchen/diner was a pleasant surprise. The showers were easy to use, which was a relief as sometimes you almost need an instruction manual, and the beds were comfortable. It was perfect in every way except one and the only reason I haven't given it full marks for comfort is that the sofa in the kitchen has possibly seen better days and the seat cushions need firmer replacements. The kitchen was full of light during the day and as this was to be a holiday of relaxation I liked to read while my friend did a jigsaw but it was more comfortable to sit at the table. I appreciate, though, that most people probably wouldn't spend as long in the kitchen as we did, but it was such a spacious light room. The Studio's proximity to the coastal path and to many places of interest made it the perfect base for exploring west Cornwall but with the weather as good as it was last week we were in no hurry to go out every day and enjoyed having our morning coffee sitting in the sun in the garden looking out over the sea. My friend's son stayed in a Sykes cottage in north Cornwall earlier this year and was also very impressed with the standard of accommodation. Based on his recommendation we booked a Sykes holiday in north Somerset for next year and now that we have stayed at The Studio we are looking at other Sykes Cottages for future holidays.

The Studio could do with a really good winter clean, the place is also starting to get a bit tatty around the edges, damp and peeling paint near the windows.. The oven could also use a good clean. ***Owner Response*** Thank you for taking the time to complete feedback following your recent stay at The Studio. We've spoken to the owner, who has confirmed that following an extremely busy season, a deep clean and redecoration will be completed during the following month.The feedback we receive for The Studio is overwhelmingly positive and we are confident any issues highlighted are a result of a busy 2018.

Very Clean spacious comfortable cottage , right on the coastal footpath , superb views and great coastal walks particularly to praa sands approx.. 1.5 miles away . The cottage has all the facilities you would want . Really enjoyed the stay . The only issue with the cottage is if like me you have a large car it is testing getting in and out of the driveway , having said that it is doable but you need to take care as there are stone walls on both sides of the access.

We've booked cottages through Helpful Holidays for many years, and The Studio comes up top! Everything about the cottage was just great in terms of rooms, style, design, comfort, cleanliness and location. The welcome cake, flowers and Cava was a lovely way to start our holiday. Fabulous location a short pàth from the garden takes you straight onto the coastal path.. Cottage has everything you could possibly want so well stocked. Rinsey is a small quiet hamlet in a great location

It would have been environmentally friendly to have a green bin, so that paper and plastics could be re-cycled without us having either to take to a local re-cycling centre or take back home with us.. The access to the properties driveway was challenging if, as we have, an estate car! Superb location with great sea views and a lovely garden in which to relax in.

I would have thought a warning or photo of entrance as any vehicle over car size would struggle for access.. The property was as i hoped it would be and the location perfect yet another good property from Helpful Holidays
