Holiday Rental Description

One of five beautifully converted barns which, along with The Farmhouse, now form the peaceful farm hamlet of Trenarlett, Ben's Barn is a very spacious luxury cottage for two; romantic, cosy and comfortable but also eco-friendly, top quality and with great attention to detail. Tucked away down a quiet lane on the side of the Camel Valley, enjoy the wonderful surroundings in this truly relaxing hideaway. Sit in your own sunny enclosed private garden with the morning papers and later maybe a glass of wine whilst the barbecue gets going! Opportunities for walking and cycling are endless, not least with the Camel Trail at the bottom of the lane. Bodmin Moor, numerous beaches, the Coast path and unlimited places of interest for days out are all close by. Though totally detached and independent from each other, any of the cottages can be booked together for larger parties. The surrounding three villages each have a well stocked shop, post office and thriving pub, between them serving a wide variety of food and ales and a warm welcome, even in winter with their real fires! Away from it all yet with loads to see and do all around you, Ben's Barn is the perfect base and is well equipped with everything you need for a truly relaxing holiday. GROUND FLOOR:
Kitchen/Diner:
 Fridge, freezer, electric cooker with double oven and ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, slow-cooker.
Lounge: Smart TV, DVD player, woodburner.

FIRST FLOOR:
Bathroom: Freestanding bath, walk in thermostatic shower, w.c., basin, washer/dryer.
Bedroom: Superking bed (6' - may be unlinked to twin 3' - please order in advance) wardrobe, dressing table, bedside units, french doors to bridge leading to garden.

GARDEN & PARKING: Feature cobbled approach and parking area to front (please take care as uneven and may be slippery when wet). Good sized private enclosed garden to rear with lawn and seating area, garden furniture, barbecue. Parking for 2 cars. Please note that access to the garden for dogs is out of the front door and through the side gate.

Changeover Day: Saturday - arrival after 5:00pm - departure by 9:00am. 
Pets Welcome: £20 per pet per week Information about bringing your pet. Please note that dogs are not permitted upstairs at all or on lounge furniture - a stairgate is available on request if helpful. Please call us if you wish to bring more than 3 dogs as this may be possible by prior arrangement.
Power and Heat: Electricity and oil included in rent; oil fired hot water/underfloor heating, 2 heated towel rails bathroom, woodburning stove lounge.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels). Please order unlinked beds in advance.
Baby Equipment: Travel cot available on request; other equipment may be hired - see hire page.
Shop: 1.5 mls Pub: 1.5 mls
