If you want to enjoy Tuscany in a relaxed atmosphere, this is the place for you! A beautifully situated and well-maintained holiday home in a fantastic location surrounded by nature, yet still not remote. Volterra can be reached on foot (in about 40 minutes, mostly a steep climb). It's an ideal starting point for many excursions (San Gimignano, Siena, Chianti, Bolgheri, Monteriggioni, San Galgano, etc.). The house is in very good condition, although the kitchen equipment is a bit limited. We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks!

If you want to spend a quiet, relaxing holiday in Tuscany and choose this beautiful house, you're doing everything right. Although it is very quiet and secluded, you can reach the beautiful old town of Volterra in just five minutes by car. There you can enjoy lively city life. Opposite the church we discovered a really nice enoteca. They serve fantastic wines and sparkling wines with delicious sausage and cheese. Great!

Wonderful holiday home. Is somewhat remote. Great beautiful view. Attractively furnished, enough space for 2, simple crockery and kitchen utensils (just enough), all windows with closing mosquito nets, which is really necessary against the sometimes large numbers of mosquitoes outside (water remains in sewer wells), very nice landlords who only speak Italian. Volterra is a lovely town (sights, restaurants, shops), but you need a car to get there from the holiday home.

So we can only recommend this house (and the landlord couple is also very, very nice and accommodating!). The house is in an ideal location: within walking distance to the town of Volterra, but still in a secluded location surrounded by greenery. You see and hear no neighbors or other noise! In addition, you can reach almost all places in Tuscany quickly and easily. The house is in very good condition, very well maintained, beautifully furnished and fully equipped. Unreserved recommendation!

Ideal for two to three people who like to have peace and quiet. Very nice location with a wide view over the hills. Very friendly and accommodating landlord.

Holiday Volterra Tuscany

A super house, dream location, a super nice landlord couple! That's called HOLIDAY!

The location couldn't be beat, as it was very quiet, but also close to the city and the view of the beautiful landscape is just great. There are also many excursion possibilities. The landlords are very friendly and cordial. However, the equipment is not good there, there is a lack of basic things such as large glasses, etc. Nevertheless, we would very much like to spend a holiday there again.

Very beautiful residence, beautiful restoration respecting Tuscan architecture, quality of interior services. Exceptional outdoor setting, space, very calm and relaxing while being a stone's throw from Volterra. However, the equipment lacks an iron (useful when staying long enough) and also WIFI to avoid spending a fortune on the internet.
