The place is very nice and works for a large group of people. We were unable to use the pool as it was too cold, but it was clean and exactly as shown in the photograph. The main road to and from the villa is filled with potholes so do not get a car low to the ground (this is no fault of the owners). Owner was very helpful and quick to respond to questions or concerns.

Good accommodation for several families/many people. The house has 4 lgh with kitchen/WC/shower, which gives the opportunity for some privacy. Good pool and pool area, cleverly separated above the house with a fence which removes the risk of children swimming unsupervised. Problems with brown water on some days. Had additionally ordered a cooking class in English one evening. Unfortunately the chef could only say yes or ok. Nothing more. Didn't turn out to be a course, but we got good food. If you are going to book a chef, set clear requirements.

A dream house in a prominent location. Moving in was absolutely problem-free. The landlords were very helpful with all requests. Highly recommended. The last 200 meters of the journey are adventurous but doable for vehicles that are not too sporty. The apartments are furnished in a typically Tuscan style. There are enough plates, cups and glasses. We would come again.

Great location/view, good size of the complex/lots of space, nice ambience, very well-kept and beautifully designed outdoor area, nothing was missing. Owner available at all times, rooms well equipped and lovingly furnished. Everything was very nice and we would love to come back.

We were there with 16 people and had a wonderful time in a fantastic residential complex. The complex is very well maintained, the apartments were very clean and well furnished. The beds were clean and slept well. The only drawbacks are the dark rooms with insufficient lighting and the way to the domicile, which demands a lot from the cars.

We had a great week in the cottage. Everything was very clean and spacious. The pool area was a dream with a beautiful view of Tuscany. The location was perfect for activities. The only small drop of bitterness was that you had to drive the last two km before the facility on a path that took some getting used to, but we were aware of that from the start. For a holiday with the extended family I can recommend Il Poggino one hundred percent.

A beautiful holiday home in a quiet location with a sensational view. Very nice facilities, beautiful garden with lavender, basil, rosemary, etc. Proximity to the next village was good.
