I really can't recommend this cottage enough. It's beautiful & spotlessly clean & in a good location. Within walking distance of the lovely village of Mullion & the absolutely beautiful Mullion Cove. My partner & I stayed for a week & I really can't find anything bad to say about the cottage. The pool table was used everyday & I loved that the bedroom didn't have a window, it made having a lie-in much easier with not having the sun waking us up every morning. The owner, Dean was very nice & it was a lovely touch leaving a bottle of wine, a couple of bottles of local beer & some biscuits for us. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I grabbed the chance to stay at the lovely Blue Oyster Cottage at the first opportunity post lockdown. The location is perfect for exploring the gorgeous coastline of the Lizard Peninsula and both St Michael’s Mount and St Ives are within easy reach. The cottage is very well equipped, comfortable and there is good access to the garden with seating areas. The owners are very welcoming and gave us some excellent tips for exploring. Would definitely love to return.

My husband and I stayed at the Blue Oyster for the Christmas week. On arrival we met Dean the owner. As promised we had a decorated Christmas tree in the lounge and as a lovely touch wine, beer and chocolates. I hadn’t told my husband there was a pool table and the joy on his face when entering the property was priceless. Parking outside the property made it easy to unload the car. Accommodation had everything we needed apart from another baking tray as cooking Christmas dinner - mentioned to Dean and dropped one in that day. Lovely log burner in the lounge with plenty of kindle and logs provided. We walked into Mullion several times to eat and drink and only about a 15 minute walk- great little convenience store with everything we needed- recommend the scones and pasties. We enjoyed the company of the two resident dogs Freddie and Bruce We mentioned to the owners we fancied walking Porthleven to Mullion and what buses to get but they kindly offered to drop us into Porthleven- these little make all the difference and much appreciated We did struggle with a small double bed as used to a king bed but apart from that had a lovely chilling week discovering all the coves nearby

Really great place.. Super clean (I get super stressed about holiday homes being clean even bringing my own bedding just in case and this was perfect!) Everything is lovely quality, house gets super warm really quickly even without wood burner on. Owners Dean and his family were really helpful and made us feel very welcome Were around when needed but you didn’t feel on top of each other at all! My husband especially loved the two friendly dogs aswell! Would def recommend and would love to come back! Thanks

Lovely immaculate cottage - we stayed in November and really enjoyed the log burner in the evening.. Mullion is a pretty village with some great coastal walks, can make day trips to most places within an hour - we went to Falmouth and St Ives. Parking at the cottage slightly tricky due to being right on bendy road - maybe a mirror could be put up to help with this to see what's coming. We really enjoyed our stay.

The owner was extremely helpful and friendly.. Blue Oyster was exactly what we required in terms of accommodation and parking and was ideally situated for our week's visits to Porthcurno, Sennen Cove, Coverack, St. Austell, Truro, St. Ives etc. Much better than the previous two years' properties which we had tried following the non-availability of our long-term base in Coverack.

What a fantastic place to stay.. Really warm and cosy and spotlessly clean. The owner Dean was really helpful and has two delightful collie dogs who just love to play.We have just returned home and had a great time even though the weather was against us. The log burner made it super cosy after getting cold and wet walking the coastal path. Perfect location, great for walking out from, and local bus stops outside too, Thankyou for a lovely stay. Hope to come again. Would highly recommend.

Location-brilliant.. Superb for anyone wanting to leave the car and walk. Everything you need in the village close-by. Pubs, shops, café s and restaurants. Holiday cottage top class. Our favourite among many we've stayed in. Dean the owner was extremely helpful. We loved chatting to him. Great guy. The two collie dogs Bruce and Freddy we shall miss, they are wonderful. Had a great deal of fun.

Hi What a beautiful cottage Clean, comfortable and the owners 2 dogs friendly and playful.. The owner Mr. Dean Lagdon was also friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble if we needed anything we only had to ask. A nice gesture of a bottle wine, water and 2 bottles of beer was very welcoming after our long drive from South Wales. All in all a very enjoyable holiday Thank you

This is our fourth consecutive visit to Cornwall, and the LIzard Peninsula is our favourite part, especially Kynance Cove. The accommodation was clean, spacious, and perfect for a relaxing week away. The pool table provided great entertainment in the evening, along with the owners very friendly dogs. I would recommend this property, not only for its accommodation, but also the location, and beautiful surrounding scenery.

Had a great holiday last week down on the Lizard peninsula staying at Blue Oyster cottage, Mullion Cove.. Dean the owner made us feel most welcome and although we were left alone to get on with things he was always available should we of needed anything. The accomodation was spacious & comfortable and was an excellent bolt hole for our trips out to explore the South West of Cornwall. The owners two friendly boarder collies made the stay somewhat more entertaining due to their daily antics. Highly recommend a stay at Blue Oyster. Ann & Adrian Hampshire

The Blue Oyster cottage is in a lovely setting and is ideal for a relaxing week away, giving you the option to just sit chill or to visit some lovely areas and walk along the coastal path ands see spectacular scenery.. The cottage itself was spotless and had everything you need for that break away. Is definitely on our places to stay at again when the opportunity arises.

We had an excellent stay at Blue Oyster, the owners Dean and his wife gave us a very nice welcome and were helpful with any queries we had.. The cottage was spotless and is very well equipped and is ideal for a holiday at the quieter part of Cornwall with beautiful coves and bays as close as a mile away.

Convenient for the Coast ( Lizard, Mullion , Poldhu , Church etc etc ) and not too far from Land's End.. Great to be able to play pool after dinner while staying at home ………. Also nice to have a garden table available.

Even if the bed room is quite small , it is only because the rest of the accomodation is spacious. Enough to house a pool table ….. Lots of comfortable armchair or sofa space , a nice bathroom a well appointed kitchen , a pleasant area outside to play with the two friendly dogs . Convenient for the coast and coves , Mullion , Poldhu , Church all within 5 minute drives. Lizard Point 10 minutes away and 40 to Land's End. Loved it.

Perfect cottage for great holiday! Will be going back ' We had a fantastic break in the Blue Oyster Cottage. It was perfectly equipped for the two of us and a great location just a short walk into Mullion. The log burner was particularly helpful especially when the weather was against us, the cottage was a cosy escape. It was central to many attractions on the lizard, we ventured around the coves and villages and found it was a perfect base for our holiday. The couple who owned the cottage were very welcoming and helpful whilst allowing us to enjoy our holiday. We would definitely look at going back and staying at Blue Oyster again and look forward to doing so

This property is great for couples, and in an ideal location to explore the area.. It is beautifully decorated and furnished and spotlessly clean. There are a couple of things I wish I had been aware of before booking. Even though the property is of a good size the bedroom is too small to accommodate a Wardrobe. The water tank does not hold enough hot water for 2 consecutive showers a wait of 20 minutes between each is needed to ensure enough hot water. The property is on a busy road but once inside you are not aware of the traffic. The owner welcomed us on arrival and we quckly settled in and had a lovely holiday.

Bedroom very poor, no window, very dark. Poor storage, no wardrobe, drawer unit or shelves only bedside cabinets and coat stand. We had piles of clothes on sofa in sitting room. No where to put on make up or dry hair. Shower good size but only small water tank in property so very short shower, not long enough for the females of our species. Access to main house past door to Blue Oyster, very busy at weekends. Garden shared with owner and family and 2 dogs running free. On busy road no pathway to village but parking space for 1 car and owners 3 cars outside.

The cottage was very clean and well equipped, and the owners were quick to respond to any questions.. Mullion village, with good local services was just a short walk/drive away, and within very easy reach was a very nice pottery shop, and a chocolate factory - both perfect for gifts etc. This was a superb location and an ideal base for exploring West Cornwall.
