Whether you're hoping to make the most of the array of watersports on offer along the coast, set out on scenic walks through the area's woods and moorland, or simply unwind in a cosy traditional pub – it's all here waiting for you.

One of our favourite places to visit is the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff Beach with its cute collection of beach huts, so don't miss out on the chance to spend a sunny afternoon here. Or, for something altogether spookier, why not take the walk up to East Bank where you will discover the ruins of Whitby Abbey, the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s renowned gothic novel ‘Dracula’.
