Our week stay in Anglers cottage was great from the off. We were a family of ten for 4 nights. The five bedrooms are all different, very good sizes, comfortable and had, in the main, plenty of wardrobe/drawer space, with hairdryers in each room. It is a very spacious quirky cottage (it used to be a public house) and the size was great for all of us. Plenty of fridge space to take supplies as there are extra ones in the utility room. Ten of us sat comfortably for an evening meal at the dining table. The modern kitchen and sitting room were also very comfortable. Plenty of crockery/cutlery/glasses. There are 3 toilets and 2 bathrooms. The house was clean and warm with a welcome feeling on arrival. A wood burning stove is available for winter nights, with an honesty box if wood is used. It has fabulous views to the front, but it is on a busy main road, which didn't bother us when we were in bed, and we were out during the day visiting all the fabulous Dales beauty spots. Plenty of walks to go on. Fishing and a short walk is just along the road at Kilnsey Fish Farm, worth a visit! Having a pub next door was a bonus for us (no designated driver needed). The Tennants Arms is great and serves good food too, it has an lovely outdoor garden, which is the only thing missing from the cottage and there is very little space at the rear to achieve one. I wouldn't miss that in winter but in summer months, I am not so sure. It was a lovely week spent with family and I would thoroughly recommend it.
