Newport is a beautiful coastal town in Pembrokeshire, south west Wales lying on the River Nevern with a selection of shops, pubs, tea rooms, plus an excellent golf course overlooking the sea as well as a lovely sheltered harbour. Newport lies on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path which is renowned worldwide for its unique landscape and wonderful opportunities to go dolphin and seal spotting. Wonderful coastal walks along the path or in the nearby Preseli Hills with the ever changing scenery are a walkers dream all year round. Learn about history when you visit the mills, craft centres and castles dotted around the county or spend a day at the wonderful Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort where you can learn hands on all about living during that time. See the majestic Shire Horses at the Shire Horse Farm or spend relaxing days on the huge choice of beautiful sandy beaches. All year round this is a perfect location for all the family.

We have just returned from a week's stay at Craigluscar. This home is in a perfect location within minutes from the beach and all the amenities of the town of Newport. The house is furnished to a very high standard with all you need for a very comfortable stay. Maggie was very helpful and was on hand should we have had any questions or required help, she also left us a lovely welcome pack upon our arrival. When we return to this area we will definitely look to book this home again.

Craigluscar was a well organised, well equipped and most comfortable, clean house where we spent an enjoyable week at the start of October, even tho the weather was not too kind. It is ideally situated in the centre of the village and off the main road. Maggie proved an excellent hostess with clear instructions and relevant updates prior to and during our stay. The ‘welcome pack’ was most unexpected and favourably received. The bedrooms were light and airy with views of the sea from the back. The beds were most comfortable thanks to to quality furniture and bed linen. It was a home from home experience.
