The place looked nice when we first went in, and it was sort of ok, BUT Gritty sofa's when we first went in - a wipe over with a damp J cloth and it was clean. There is no Smoke alarm or fire extinguisher (a legal requirement). The bathroom door was noisy to open and close AND their was no door lock. Walking round in pale coloured socks and you found the bottom of your socks filthy. The children's bedroom smelled of damp and there was mould patches on the walls and around the windows. In the bathroom their is a round window that had considerable mould around it and it wasn't possible to close it because it was seized up. Additionally their was no fan extract in the bathroom (which is a legal requirement). The door from the lounge leading into the was almost impossible to close quietly. The lights on the kitchen cooker extractor couldn't be switched off............ Apart from that, the cottage could be improved and brought up to a high standard with only a small expenditure. The current price charged is very high for the standard of the cottage.

Very very bad smell of damp all throughout the cottage, filthy bathroom, no WiFi, kitchen window can't be opened because it's screwed together, othere windows can't be opened, including the bathroom one, no fan in bathroom , radiator in the hallway rusty and leaking, boiler pressure down all the time so you had to keep topping it up, no food cuboured to store your food in , if all was correctly done it would be fantastic cottage, its also situated in the strand and its fantastic place ,
