As much as we adore the stone archways, traditional flooring and authentic Sabina wood beams inside, what really sets this villa apart are the modern touches – think Apple TV, Sonos sound system, table tennis and the roomy living areas that make it easy to gather together as a family. We also love the guest house – it has two bedrooms, a lounge and a separate kitchen, making it ideal for those wanting just a smidge more privacy.

Chances are you'll spend most of your day in the sun-soaked garden, basking in the Ibizan rays. Whether you prefer to sprawl out on the lounge chairs with a good book, swim in the crystal clear pool or sip cocktails on the breezy daybed, outdoor living comes easy here. Two alfresco dining areas and built-in barbecues call for dinners under the stars, while the private balcony off the main bedroom is the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee.

When it's time to venture out, you'll have plenty of options. Foodies can try the local cuisine at the restaurants in the nearby villages, hikers can trek along the coast and beach fiends can take their pick of shores and coves to visit – Benirràs, Playa Niu Blau and Es Portitxol are about a twenty-minute drive away.
