Longforth Farm Cottage is a detached property near the Dumfries and Galloway village of Glenluce. It comes with two bedrooms, both house super king-size zip/link beds and en-suite facilities, as well as a family bathroom, the property can sleep four people. Its interior also includes a kitchen with a breakfast bar, a utility, a dining room and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. To the outside you will find ample off-road parking, a lawn and a patio with furniture, a barbecue and a hot tub. Longforth Farm Cottage is a stunning, contemporary cottage in an excellent part of Scotland.

A village in Dumfries and Galloway offering amenities including two hotels with bars, a bistro and a village shop. Stranraer is just a short drive away with a range of amenities as well as a museum, memorial tower and a train station. Newton Stewart is also a memorable spot close by, which leads you towards the Galloway Forest Park for you countryside enthusiasts.

The most amazing cottage for a getaway/staycation. We have been going for a few years now and have our next trip booked in just a couple of weeks. Janice and Derek are wonderful hosts, so accommodating and welcoming. The cottage has everything you need and is extremely spacious. The pub down the road is great for some food. There are lots of nice places around for days out etc. Highly recommend a trip to the cottage, you will never want to leave.

Visited on 24th to 28th as a surprise for my wife's 60th birthday.She pleasantly surprised with my choice.lodge was well equipped,views fabulous, Derek and Janice great hosts hot tub was great.wouid recommend lodge for anyone to enjoy.Nice & quiet.

We stayed from 27th Sept for 7 nights. On arrival we were greeted by the lovely Janice and her husband Derek and given a tour of the cottage. The cottage is absolutely lovely with amazing views. Janice and Derek have thought of everything and the attention to detail and standard of finish is just amazing. By far the nicest place we have stayed. I cannot recommend this highly enough. We were really sorry to have to leave. Thanks to Janice and Derek for an amazing experience.

We stayed at the cottage from 12th July 2019 until 18th July 2019. Its a beautiful cottage with everything you need inside and the bonus of a hot tub outside. The views are amazing sea view in front and Countryside all around. Derek and Janice Owbers were really helpful on places to go to visit and there if you needed them a lovely couple. The cottage is the best we have stayed in to date. There's a pub just along the lane called The Cock Inn with fantastic meals the pies are huge and all homemade, they dont serve meals until after 12.30pm.

This was a fantastic cottage- clean, comfortable with magnificent views and a brilliant hot tub.. Janice and derek are so helpful with suggestions of places to visit with the kids. We had a great week including a ferry over to The Giants Causeway. We would definitely like to return as it was such a great cottage.

We had a fabulous time at the cottage.. It was definitely 5 star accommodation and the owners are right across the road if there were any issues. A most pleasant couple who have set up their cottage to meet any needs/wishes that you might have. Beautiful part of the country and spectacular views to get up in the morning to. We had an amazing time at Longforth Farm Cottage.. Derek and Janice went out of their way to help make our stay perfect. The cottage is full of wonderful little touches which exceeded our expectations. We particularly loved walking down our own private road to the beach, exploring the local area and returning to the hot tub, toasting marshmallows, and generally being outside enjoying that view. Being able to then retreat inside to sit in front of the log burner and warm up was perfect. We can’t wait to book our next trip!

We stayed here in August and have to say this was the best cottage we have ever stayed in! It is home from home in fact probably better than home!!! Derek and Janice were most welcoming and showed us round the cottage and gave us tips on places to eat/visit. The cottage is warm, welcoming and very clean with every thing you could possibly want. Fab garden and hot tub which the kids loved! We sat outside with a g&t enjoying the peace/quiet and taking in the view. This cottage is a must, we cannot recommend it enough!!

Warm welcome by Janice & Derek, spotless and well resourced cottage, hot tub was amazing, plenty logs for the fire, local walks plentiful and short drive to Whitefield loch is a must..

Cottage absolutely fabulous surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside and sea views.. Photos do not do it justice. Equipped with everything for perfect holiday. Lovely area.Owners very helpful with advice on where to visit. Highlight seeing wild otters on nearby loch.

Fantastic cottage, set in the most picturesque place.. Janice and Derek were lovely and very helpful with ideas of where to visit and where the nearest shops were. The beach was just a short walk away which the kids loved. The cottage was also very child friendly with no stairs and a large enclosed garden and the hot tub was enjoyed by all of us. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a fantastic week long stay here starting with a very warm welcome from Janice and Derek.. Beautiful scenery surrounding the cottage and nearby and set in a quiet and peaceful location. The cottage has been newly refurbished inside and out to a very high standard and made for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay with plenty of space for our little 1 year old to run around too. The cottage was very well equipped with all you might expect and more. We went cycling whilst here and having only one bike we were planning on renting a second but Derek offered his for us to borrow instead which was very kind. Overall we had a fantastic time.

This cottage is amazing.. It's a stunningly beauitful place. There is so much to do around there. Our host were amazing with a real knowledge of the area... Campbells is the place to eat and I recommended highly. There is everything you want and need there. I think the pictures just do not do the cottage justice. We had a fantastic week here at Longforth Farm cottage, the view was unbelievable from the hot tub.. The house was one of best we have ever stayed in and is very well equipped. The owners made us feel very welcome and the fresh eggs were delicious. They were really helpful with ideas for days out with the kids. We had a couple meals in the local pub the Cock Inn and the kids loved walking across the beach to get there 15 minutes walk. We hope to return.
