Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted warmly, shown around, and taken care of the paperwork. The welcoming landlady also offered tips on restaurants, shopping opportunities, and excursions. It was also special that we were given a large bowl of grapes from the property's own vines or a batch of fresh eggs. She repeatedly asked if everything was okay. In other words: always very helpful, very friendly, and very good.

From here we made lovely trips to San Gimignano, Siena, Colle d'elsa, Pomeranca, Lucca and of course Volterra. The accommodation is very quiet, clean and well equipped. The garden is very well maintained with a wonderful view. The landlady was very helpful and recommended very good restaurants with traditional Tuscan cuisine.

We stayed 3 weeks with our kids and two dogs and really enjoyed our stay. Simona and her family were very nice hosts and created a warm welcomig atmosphere. Our kids enjoyed the pool very much, which was cleaned every morning. The location is attached to Volterra but 1 km below the village which makes it situated perfectly. At the back of the house, you can start a nice hiking trail and in 3 minutes you can reach Volterra village. We will come back! Many thanks, Simona!

Nice house with everything you need, very nice and warm landlord. Good location to explore Tuscany.

It was an extremely nice stay. A beautiful little house in the middle of Tuscany and yet all shopping opportunities are only a few minutes away by car. With the sea in one direction and Florence in the other in under an hour's drive. For the serpentines you should have travel chewing gum ready for the children. Second time staying here. Ideal place to stay to discover Tuscany!!!

There were four of us, two couples in the house. It is very clean, workable and nicely decorated. The grounds are well maintained and big enough to hang out by the pool and spend nice evenings on the porch in front of the house. Also the view is beautiful. The owner, S., is very friendly, helpful and available for all questions. The proximity to Volterra is great and other places are easily accessible by car. Thanks again to S!

Beautiful detached house with a magnificent view over the pool to the hills near Volterra. Very neat and clean and everything worked. Both bedrooms with their own bathroom, structurally separated, making it perfect for two couples. Not to forget the very nice landlady and her sons, who gave us a warm welcome. Volterra is not far and also 2 wonderful restaurants, the Villa Felice and the Trattoria Albana in Mazzolla. Simply a dream to relax, only to be recommended!

With our 3 children we were guests in this wonderful house. We wanted to enjoy a few quiet days and that's exactly what we got! A very clean and fully equipped house, a great pool, nice landlord and an amazing view of the Tuscan hills. And the peace that radiates from the property allows the battery to be recharged quickly.

Were the first and only guests at the end of July 2020. Lovely house, sufficient, clean spaces and facilities. Although a fan in August would be nice. Lovely swimming pool, nice private covered terrace and beautiful views/views.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the equipment of our holiday home. Very well maintained, nice bathrooms. All in all a very well-kept complex with nice landlords (unfortunately they only speak Italian) in a great landscape. Were partly with 5 people in the apartment, was then only a bit tight from the dishes. But not really a problem as the landlady was very helpful if we needed anything. We spent a very nice holiday there.

Fantastic experience in an ideal location with a view of Volterra. From here you can easily visit the entire region.
