Lovingly restored to retain much of its original character, this villa on the outskirts of Lucca is packed with period charm. Frescoed walls, vintage tiles, and antique furniture add to the sense of history here, while modern comforts like the heated pool make it easy to feel right at home. The leafy garden is peaceful and private, yet the location is conveniently close to shops and eateries in Lucca. Simply hop on your bike or jump in the car to reach the historic city in less than fifteen minutes. Or head out into the countryside to see more of Tuscany’s scenic landscapes.

Home truths:
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
*The small double bed in the fourth bedroom might be a little cosy for an adult guest, so we think it's best suited to a child.
*The swimming pool is heated and only available for use from April to September. Next to the pool there's a pool house with a changing room and bathroom.
*The granite floors should only be cleaned with the specialist soap provided by your host.
*Your host kindly asks you not to play football in the garden or climb the trees.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. Free parking is available on the driveway, which is accessed via a remote control gate.
