33 The Wynd is a delightful, semi-detached cottage located in the Nothumberland town of Amble. All on ground floor, it boasts two double bedrooms, sleeping four people. There is also a shower room, kitchen and living/dining room with a sofa bed for an extra guest. to the outside is parking on a first come, first served basis, while a selection of handy amenities await in the town centre, just a stroll away. 33 The Wynd is a lovely, coastal getaway for families or friends.

Area
The seaport of Amble is situated at the mouth of the River Coquet and is an ideal place for exploring Northumberland. This town offers a marina, a harbour, beaches and coastal walks to the bird sanctuary at Hauxley and country park at Druridge Bay. The villages of Alnmouth and Craster are only a short drive away, whilst Warkworth with its castle, Alnwick and the National Trust’s Wallington Hall and Cragside are all within easy reach.

Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

33 The Wynd is a good value flat, spacious, well-proportioned and comfortable. Although situated facing a bend of a main road, there is almost no traffic noise inside the flat. Private off-road parking is adequate. Amble is a pleasant, developing town with plenty of amenities and an excellent Sunday market.

Everything you needed at a very reasonable price. Would definitely stay again. Comprehensive welcome pack including milk, wine, bread, butter, jam and marmalade. Only negative would be the noise from the road which can be fairly busy. However for the money and location 10/10. Lovely area with so much to see and do and where else can you be on a 5 mile beach with only a few other walkers for company. If available will use when next up!!

Really enjoyed our stay in this affordable,and comfortable flat. Great location to explore this lovely part of the country. The welcome pack on arrival was very generous too. Would definitely book again.

We had a wonderful time in Amble. The apartment was well maintained and spacious with a nice kitchen and big family room. We could walk anywhere in Amble and it was a short drive to other attractions--like the Poison Gardens. Loved it and would come again.

Overall the facilities were v.. G and the welcoming pack was lovely. Although the water pressure in the beautiful wet room was very disappointing. We would also have benefited from more information about ‘what’s on’ in the surrounding areas, e.g. we took a trip to Alnwick castle and gardens only to discover our dog was not allowed in eventually we were given leaflets at wellwood arms that helped like knowing about Sunday market in Amble harbour.

We enjoyed a very comfortable short stay.. The welcome pack left for our arrival was very much enjoyed and appreciated. The apartment isn’t particularly pretty from the outside but inside it has all the home comforts needed for a relaxing stay.
