Area Glanton is a little gem of a village that lies at the foot of the Cheviots and is in some of the most picturesque countryside that Northumberland has to offer. Glanton has a village store and a public house, but for a wider range of shops and other amenities, the busy town of Alnwick is only nine miles away. Alnwick is also famous for its Castle and gardens, which are well worth a visit.
