Located within the grounds of a private working farm cottage collection and just under 100 metres from the beach, the cottage has an abundance of dune walks and coastal trails on the doorstep.

The village is half a mile walk, where a country pub serves food and local ales, while the beach side pub/restaurant in nearby Low Newton serves ale from its microbrewery and a stroll to the nature reserve allows for a spot of bird watching, The market town Alnwick is a must visit for the magnificent castle that was used as part of the set on the Harry Potter films. Take a boat trip to the rugged Farne Islands from Seahouses harbour and you might be lucky enough to spot some seals.
