A very well presented cottage in a superb location but bath towels are tiny; agree other suggestions that you take your own bath sheets. The stair is steep, not a negative but something to be aware of. A dog friendly pub/restaurant is just yards away, busy but welcoming with good food. The village green with its resident ducks (and weekender children) is very picturesque. Another dog friendly pub, the Old Hall, serving lovely food is an easy 15 minute walk across the fields at Threshfield. Nearby Percevall Hall Garden is also to be recommended. Our only small gripe was that the very small patio area had not been cleaned in months; we had wonderful weather during our stay and thought it reasonable to have expected the outdoor area to have been up to scrach in June particularly as there was no yard brush for us to tidy up the patio ourselves. Overall though, a well equipped, comfortable cottage, finished to a high standard, good value for money in a beautiful part of the country,
