Ground Floor There is a spacious living area with comfortable sofa and a large Smart television and Internet access plus a Bluetooth docking station for iPads/iPods and smartphones. The charming property has been thoughtfully equipped including a small book library and even a picnic hamper - pack up some sandwiches and spend the day on Whitby's glorious sandy beaches! The smart fully-equipped kitchen has an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer and microwave, etc; a small utility room houses a washing machine. The dining area is perfect for breakfast or dinner a deux - take time to relax over meals, isn't that what holidays are all about? The bedroom is lovely; decorated in seaside hues of blues and pale greys, it has a comfortable king size bed with crisp white bed linens, bedside tables plus hanging space, a chest of drawers and a rattan chair. There is also a fabulous large shower room with a double-size, walk-in shower cubicle, WC and hand wash basin. One infant welcome, however guests should bring their own cot and high chair Outside With a small paved courtyard area to the front with table and chairs, you can enjoy drinks or meals outside in the sunshine!

Area
The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire, with its superb coastline and close proximity to the spectacular North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
