Enjoy the sands of Whitby Beach with classic and brightly colour beach huts and deck chairs, a bustling promenade and a host of eateries and restaurants. Visit the commanding Whitby Abbey, reached via the 199 Steps, and said to be inspiration for Bram Stoker’s famous novel ‘Dracula’. Nearby, more seaside fun can be had at Robin Hood's Bay and Scarborough, whilst avid ramblers and cyclists can enjoy the Moors. A fascinating day out is promised at the market town of Pickering.
