The living areas in the apartment consist of a galley kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, toaster and coffee machine with complimentary ground coffee. There is also a Fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Living/dining room with a 40 inch Smart TV and large dining table. Both Smart TVs have Netflix apps etc but guests do need their own account and please remember to log out before departure. Leisure Centre, outdoor pool, mini golf, skate park, Pavillion Theatre within 150 yards. Local surf school within 200 yards. Steam trains at Whitby with standard railway at Scarborough. The Coastliner bus is only a 10 minute walk away linking to Flamingo Land, Howard Castle, Malton, York and Leeds. RSPB Bempton Cliffs viewing platforms and Flamborough Head with the UK's oldest working lighthouse are within driving distance and only 20 miles to Scarborough's Alpamare Water Park. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linens and towels are all included in the price. Outside there is private off road parking for one car. Cycling/Walking/hiking/watersports, birdwatching/ fishing guests also welcome.Sandsend Sunset View is a delightful place to stay for a memorable trip to Whitby. Three bedrooms. 1 x super king Zip/link room which can be made into twins on request and also has a Smart TV. 1 x double room and 1 x Trundle room which is set up as single, but can also be a double on request. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC.

Whitby is a seaside town and port at the mouth of the River Esk in North Yorkshire's Scarborough region. The location is ideal for visiting this lovely part of Yorkshire, and the surrounding area offers a wide range of activities, ensuring that you get the most out of both the countryside and the seaside. There's plenty for everyone here, from the surrounding North York Moors to its Blue Flag beaches, at any time of year. Whitby, among its many attractions, has a beautiful ambience, with meandering streets and hidden alleyways where you may find a varied selection of cafés and boutiques. Take a trip to the scenic harbour and lighthouse to watch the sun set. Climb the 199 stairs to Whitby Abbey for a taste of history, or pay a visit to the Captain Cook Memorial Museum, which features historical and anthropological exhibits on Cook himself. Whitby has something for everyone, with a plethora of leisure facilities, opportunities to explore the natural world, and plenty of seaside delights. Whitby is a great place to visit if you want to see all that Yorkshire has to offer. It's close to Robin Hood's Bay, which is full with heritage wonders and picturesque sites, and it's also close to the lively towns of Scarborough and Middlesbrough.
