WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Foxton Penthouse is the perfect base for a trip to the heart of North Yorkshire. Whitby is a coastal town and port at the mouth of the River Esk in North Yorkshire's Scarborough region. The location is ideal for visiting this lovely part of Yorkshire, and the surrounding area offers a wide range of activities, ensuring that you get the most out of both the countryside and the seaside. There's plenty for everyone here, from the surrounding North York Moors to its Blue Flag beaches, at any time of year. Whitby, among its many attractions, has a delightful ambiance, with meandering streets and hidden alleys teeming with cafés and stores. Take a trip to the scenic port and lighthouse to watch the sun set or go whale watching or on a coastal cruise to get up and personal with the creatures. Climb the 199 stairs to Whitby Abbey for a taste of history or go to the Captain Cook Memorial Museum for a historical and anthropological exhibition about Cook himself. Whitby has something for everyone, with a plethora of leisure facilities, opportunities to explore the natural world, and plenty of seaside delights.
