The historical cobbled town of Whitby rests proudly on the shores of the North Yorkshire coast, at the mouth of the beautiful River Esk. Filled with enchanting landmarks and popular attractions, as well as a plethora of cafés, pubs and independent stores, visitors will be spoilt for choice with so much to be enjoyed. Robin Hood's Bay and Scarborough can be found within reaching distance whilst further inland Goathland and Danby are not to be missed.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Lovely clean, well equipped cottage, suitable to all that are ok with stairs. It’s central location is close to everything… Shops, pubs, restaurants and attractions. Our pet dog loved it as we took our own throws and covers so he felt ‘at home’ The bed is so comfy, the furniture and fixtures make it relaxing too! Follow the instructions for water and heating and there will be no problems. The cleaner leaves you a bottle of milk for arrival- that’s a nice touch and there’s toilet rolls, kitchen roll and condiments plus extras. Hairdryer in drawer in bedroom and towels provided. We only stayed in one night from 8pm onwards as got fish and chips for supper and watched tv in the cosy living room. Get fish and chips from church street over the bridge near the Ship and Abbey Wharf it’s half the price and better! Little Angel is fab and dog friendly but get in early for seats! Abusive owners, cringey guitar playing. Dog mess left outside front door. Coming back in at 1am playing Time Warp full blast. Extremely loud slamming if doors, shaking the whole building. Constant shouting and arguing inside and outside.

Brown stains on sheets and mattress. Neighbours in and out slamming doors constantly and empty cider cans outside used as ash trays.
