You'll find a shop and a pub in 0.7 miles. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. The Old Coach House is a charming base for a family break to North Yorkshire. Just two miles east of Pickering, in the Dalby Forest and North York Moors National Park, is the picturesque village of Thornton-le-Dale. This exquisite spot at the top of a lovely valley is a haven for walkers, bikers, and nature enthusiasts. Despite being 13 and 20 miles apart, Scarborough and Whitby provide all the services and amenities of two of the top coastal destinations in the nation. A one-hour drive from each other, York and Castle Howard provide all the history and culture a vacation might want. Pickering, Malton, Kirkbymoorside, and Helmsley, nearby market towns, are fantastic vacation spots and the focal points of numerous summer events and performances. There are numerous chances for a fun day out in the National Park and Coastline. There are miles of open moor to roam through in the nearby North York Moors National Park.
