Area Popular since Victorian times, the seaside town of Scarborough offers two superb sandy beaches, separated by the Medieval castle that sits on the headland, overlooking the sea. Scarborough is a great location for outdoor activities, with lovely coastal walks along the Cleveland Way, stunning cycle routes, golf courses, sailing and surfing opportunities.
Region The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
