Carters is a charming barn conversion situated in the village of Staintondale in North Yorkshire. Hosting one double bedroom with en-suite this property can sleep up to two people. Inside you will also find an open-plan sitting, kitchen and dining area. To the outside is off road parking and a small gravelled area with hot tub. Resting in a lovely location with pleasant surroundings, Carters is a delightful retreat in an excellent part of England.

The village of Staintondale in North Yorkshire is ideally placed for both coast and country. Set between the popular resorts of Whitby and Scarborough, Staintondale lies on the edge of the North York Moors yet is within a mile of the sea. For walking or cycling, riding or exploring the fishing village or sandy beaches of the coastline, Staintondale makes a lovely base.

Just spent 3 nights at Carters. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is quaint and very private. The Hot Tub was very pleasant and is easy to use. So relaxing My partner left some items behind. A phone call to Wendy soon rectified the problem. We would definitely return, if in the area.

A quaint little cottage, sadly our stay was spoilt due to inaccurate photos of property windows on Sykes website. Unable to see outside from kitchen/lounge and bedroom due to frosted glass in windows. Sykes very unhelpful. Poor outside space and sitting area compromised due to hot tub taking up space

The cottage was lovely and clean, spacious and the bed was very comfy. Shower was nice and hot, facilities were all in perfect working order and décor was lovely. The sofa was a two seater recliner and very comfy. We were left some chocolates and milk by the owners. Sky TV was a bonus and some DVD's to watch. The hot tub was absolutely amazing and very relaxing, however it could have done with being more enclosed or covered because some nights were very windy and cold so we had to get out. The garden area is lovely and big with an amazing countryside view, however we didn't get to use it as it was windy and rainy. The cottage soon warmed up with the use of the electric heaters, however there was still a slight draft. We didn't meet the owners during our week stay but the people around the cottages were lovely and friendly. We had the best and most relaxing time and we would definitely return. Great value for money.

The views around the cottage are lovely.. The hottub was a real treat to sit in and chill. The local pub was very handy for good food, The Falcon Inn. We booked the cottage for a break away and with the bank holiday weather it was just the job.

We had a amazing time and the cottage is lovely the owners Ben and Wendy gave us a real friendly and warm welcome .. The area and surronding are just out of this world if u loveing walking there plenty to explore on the coastal cliff tops the veiws are so nice . the hotub was amiazing. And if u love the counrty side and star gaizing its perfect on a clear night i never seen so many stars . Plenty of local pubs and resturants around for food . I will be going bcak in the future x

We really enjoyed our self, nice and relaxing stay and felt very homely, we loved the hot tub! !! Would certainly recommend, the only thing I can recommend is a gazebo or some kind of shelter for hot tub and more radiators in the cottage during winter as it was quite cold

Fabulous little cottage, perfect for a short break away from home.. There was a well equipped kitchen, the owners even left a little bottle of milk and some chocolates to get us started - thanks! The hot tub was lush - just what we needed after some long days out. The cottage is well positioned to explore the local area. We would stay again if we come back to the area for a holiday. Definitely recommend.

The cottage is so cute! Really comfortable and it was so lovely coming home after our days of exploring to the hot tub and relaxing. The cottage was really clean and we were gifted a little box of chocolates. The location was remote but the area was so lovely, we liked the views when driving to and from. We loved it, and would 100% stay again.

The cottage was in the country side and was so peaceful with beautiful views , just what we needed as my husband has recently had surgery.. Loved the hot tub, and the hosts Ben and Wendy were lovely and welcoming and also left us some treats of chocolates and lovely hand made cookies and also a pint of milk so we could have a drink on arrival which we thought was a nice touch. Close to Whitby and Scarborough which we went to both places. The cottage was well equipped with all that we needed. Will definitely recommend and would like to think we will return back there in the future,thanks to Ben ,Wendy and also yourselves Sykes cottages.

We had a really wonderful time.. The cottage was so comfortable with everything we needed. Wendy and Ben were the perfect hosts, so friendly and helpful. A welcome card, prosecco and chocolates awaited us on arrival plus many essential items in the kitchen. An excellent few days altogether!
