Area
The village of Ugthorpe lies 9 miles from Whitby. There is a local village inn serving food, plus the seaside village of Sandsend is 6 miles away and Runswick Bay is 3 miles away, both of which provide sandy beaches. The market towns of Pickering and Hutton-le-Hole are definitely worthy of a visit.

Region
From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?

Pub 2 mins walk, shop 3 miles. Note: Outbuilding: Wash house with washing machine, dryer, full size freezer and a dog shower facility. Note: There is a pond near the property. Note: The maximum occupancy of the property is 6.

Wow, beautiful property providing seclusion in order to relax yet at the same time close to amenities - the best of both world's! So much to do walks, sight seeing and shopping. We found 1 week left us with a taste of what is available, and loved it so much we were sad to go. We will be returning without a doubt as every moment was amazing.

This was a delightful cottage, spacious and secluded.. Lots of effort put into the extras such as food hamper and milk for arrival, fresh flowers and dressing gowns for use with hot tub.

Pond Farm Lodge was enjoyed by a family of 6 adults and there was plenty of space for everyone.. The setting is secluded and beautiful but close enough to Whitby, and the surrounding areas for days out and sight seeing. The fixtures and fittings are luxurious and expensive. We all had a wonderful time.

We have been using holiday homes for the past 15 years and Ponds Farm Woodlands is the icing on the cake so to speak.. Set in a tranquil woodland setting, with outstanding views, so beautiful and peaceful. The welcome pack is the best we have had, unbelievable is all we could say. To say you could take your dogs, we did not find any dog hairs or doggy smells, the whole place was immaculately clean. The beds were very comfortable, and the hot tub was amazing. And to top it off at night the trees were lit up with laser lights, brilliant. We will defiantly be back. Well done to Izzy & Ed.
