Area Leyburn is a busy town known as the "Gateway to Wensleydale." It is dominated by its large market square, which still has a busy market every Friday. From its western edge, you can see beautiful views of the Dale. With its many craft shops, art galleries, and tea rooms, the town has a lot to offer. In this beautiful area, there are many nice walks for people of all skill levels, as well as charming villages to visit. Many other places of interest are also easy to get to, such as the Constable Burton Hall Gardens, which have a lot of parkland and wooded areas to walk through, the Forbidden Corner, which has underground passages to explore, and the lovely Georgian town of Richmond, which has beautiful castle ruins.
