Sitting on the edge of the Vale of York and between the Hambleton Hills and the Yorkshire Dales National Park, there's plenty of scenery to explore. The town hosts a good selection of shops and eateries as well as a twice weekly market. In reach of Richmond, Darlington, Thirsk and beyond, Northallerton makes a fantastic base all-year-round.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
