There are many miles of leisurely country walks to be enjoyed direct from the property's front door, including the enjoyable walk around Lindley Reservoir which will be of particular interest to wildlife enthusiasts as the area is home to a large number of bird species including goldcrest and woodpeckers. To the north east of the property, within a 20 minute drive, the spa town of Harrogate is a fantastic place for a day trip, as are the wonderful gardens at RHS Harlow Carr which visitors will pass on the way into the town.
