Discover the traditional seaside resort of Filey resting within the North Yorkshire area, just a short distance away from the popular resort town of Scarborough. The fishing town has had a fine reputation since the Victorian times and is set besides Filey Bay, a long stretch of beautiful sand, with Filey Brigg and its shallow rockpools to the north. Attractions within the area includes the 400 ft high Bempton Cliffs (RSPB Reserve) and the Parish Wood (just off Sycamore Avenue) an unexpected gem that offers a wealth of wildlife.
