A small town and civil parish in North Yorkshire, England's Harrogate area is called Boroughbridge. Historically a part of Yorkshire's West Riding, it is located about 16 miles northwest of the county seat of York. The town is home to a fantastic selection of cafes, eateries, and quaint pubs. There is easy access to the canal, and the River Ure offers lovely hikes with many boats and the chance to go fishing. Nearby Staveley Nature Reserve's exceptional wetland ecosystem offers frequent opportunities to see birds, otters, and a number of orchid species.
