Area Hornsea is a lovely coastal village located just 15 miles south of Bridlington on the East Coast. This historic Victorian town is perfect for families, thanks to its broad, sandy beaches and charming promenade lined with well-kept gardens. While Hornsea Mere, Yorkshire's largest natural lake, is located nearby, the town's lively centre has an old-fashioned ambiance with a variety of tiny shops, pubs, and cafes. A half-hour drive from Hornsea Freeport is Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve, which boasts one of the greatest mainland puffin populations in Britain. As a starting point for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, the North York Moors, and the East Riding's seaside resorts, Hornsea is convenient to Wassand Hall and its walled gardens.
