Visitors and tourists flock to the village when storms rage to watch the waves crash against the sea defences. Perfect for those who want a sunny walking holiday, the coastal path provides an ideal way to explore the area. Porthleven is very popular with experienced surfers who can handle some tough waves, but if that’s not for you then simply enjoy the sand and pebble beach which stretches on for three miles to Loe Bar and Gunwalloe Cove. Enjoy excellent access to shops, pubs and local businesses within the village right at your doorstep.
