All ground floor. One king-size double bedroom (zip/link, can be twin on request). Shower room with double shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with breakfast bar and TV. Sitting room with sofa bed -(linen available on request), dining area and electric fire. Please note there is no facility for charging electric cars at the property.

Area
Tywardreath is a village in Cornwall, surrounded by the beautiful landscapes and rugged coastline which inspired the literature of Daphne du Maurier. In fact, the village name means The House on the Strand, and it appeared in her novel of that name. The world famous Eden Project is 3 miles away, the beach at Par Sands is around a mile away, and the coastal town of Fowey is a lovely afternoon out.

Considerate, friendly hosts left a tea making tray and fresh milk for our arrival.. Accommodation was spacious, spotless and well equipped with the most fantastic view from the breakfast bar in the kitchen. Own entrance and parking space. Good pub, village shop, butchers, fish & chip shop and bus stop a quarter of a mile away, downhill going but all up hill on the way back.

The cottage is ideally placed for all local buses which we used.. The views from the kitchen window are amazing. We were very lucky to have good weather and were able to sit out in the very pretty garden most days. Even if it is windy the garden is sheltered, it was still very warm. Our hosts were very pleasant and welcoming. Their cottage is modern and a home from home, we could not fault anything. The kitchen had every amenity (except a washer) The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a good sized shower . We loved it and will be booking again. We were very busy visiting local places but there is still so much to see and do.

Having just returned from our third visit to Jenny Wren in Tywardreath we felt we must both commend & highly recommend this accommodation. It's situated in a lovely village, so close to both the East & West coasts of Cornwall, Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan & many other beautiful gardens & places of interest. Dave & Dianne, the owners, are most welcoming & so friendly, It's like coming home to old friends. Jenny Wren is always spotless, it is very well appointed & most comfortable. The bed is amazing & the shower so refreshing. As for the views in the morning eating breakfast they're very special & you get amazing sunsets too. The garden is so private, very pretty and frequented by so many birds, including a Wren family. This certainly won't be our last visit to this five star home from home.

Just returned from JennyWren. Lovely stay in a quiet residential area but close to beaches and major attractions in Cornwall (approx 20 minutes from Eden project and Lost Gardens). Well appointed kitchen with everything you need to cook (if you want to!) and situated not far from a Spar, Co op and a large Tesco. David and Diane are super friendly and very helpful. They keep the property to a high and homely standard with some lovely welcoming touches for your arrival. The little garden is well kept with a lovely view and has provided a great place to enjoy some spectacular sunsets. The bed is super comfortable and the shower really wakes you up!! Can highly recommend if you want a quiet home from home close to beaches and attractions.

Property was excellent: clean, conveniently located, comfortable and well appointed.. Situated near to major tourist attractions and some beautiful beaches. Excellent holiday.

We had a lovely relaxing break in this very comfortable home kept in excellent condition and spotlessly clean. Beds and furniture are of good quality and very comfortable, kitchen is a good size and a nice large shower. David and Dianne are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. David has an impressive knowledge of Cornwall and the local area and provided us with well informed suggestions of places to visit. The cottage is in an excellent location as a base for visiting any area of Cornwall and is very close to Cornish attractions like Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan and for Poldark Lovers - Charlestown. We took David's suggestions and visited some nearby quaint cornish coastal villages and sandy beaches and had excellent days out. But it is also very good if you just want to relax in comfortable cottage and garden in a lovely cornish village.

Just spent a week at this very comfortable and tastefully decorated property. It is very well placed for the South West Coast Path which we walked from Par to Plymouth. There are some good transport links to achieve this. The local village Tywardreath is a 5 minute walk away and the local pub The New Inn serves great food.

Not quite as close to the sea as expected, however, easy drive to Par and Fowey etc.. Bonus that owners were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for one week at the beginning of October. Dianne and David, the owners, we found to be very helpful and responded quickly to our requests. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, especially the bed! It had everything that you needed for a break away. Not quite as near to the sea as we thought, although it was close to drive to. Easy access to Par, Fowey and the rest of Cornwall. Nice carvery in the Ship in Par with rustic surroundings. You may need to book. Eden project very close by.

Jenny Wren was a very peaceful cottage in wonderful surroundings and the owners were so friendly and most welcoming. Very clean and furnished to a high standard. It was such a peaceful place - the property was in a cul-de-sac and we didn't hear or see another person. The pub in the village did good food, although it was old fashioned but then most of Cornwall is that way. We were conveniently situated for the National Trust properties we wanted to visit.
