The National Surf Centre, three major beaches, eleven beaches totalling more than seven miles of golden sand, and an inexhaustible supply of rolling surf make Newquay the centre of the UK's surf culture and a haven for beachgoers and watersports enthusiasts. The town also guarantees a wonderful experience with its zoo, sea life centre, and diverse assortment of restaurants and pubs. A gorgeous coastline with towering cliffs, secret coves, and additional beaches is traversed in both directions by the South West Coast Path, a popular route for enthusiastic walkers. In addition, Truro, with its museums, church, restaurants, and cobblestone streets, as well as the Eden Project, can be accessed in a short drive. Padstow, a charming fishing community and harbour, is only 14 miles away. A short train ride will take you to picturesque St. Ives and the Tate St. Ives gallery. Newquay is the ideal travelling base because nothing in Cornwall is far away.
