Westroose Farm House is a beautiful, 16th century farmhouse cottage, outside the village of Otterham, near Camelford in Cornwall. The cottage offers three wonderful bedrooms, including a double, a twin and a family room offering another double bed and two singles. There is also a ground floor shower room and a family bathroom meaning the cottage can sleep up to eight people. The cottage boasts two sitting rooms, one with a fabulous dining area and an open fire. There is also a well-equipped kitchen, a breakfast room and boot storage in the hallway for keen walkers. Outside, you will find close to an acre of enclosed, lawned gardens with furniture, a BBQ and off road parking for three cars. Westroose Farm House is a fantastic, period holiday home for family and friends exploring Cornwall, all-year-round.

Our family spent a fantastic week here in August, its set on a quiet corner of a working Cornish dairy farm. The home is spacious and set in peaceful large gardens, lots of space for our family of six. Inside there is lots of room with large bedrooms, two sitting rooms, one with an open fire, kitchen, dinning room and a utility room. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming with s wealth of local knowledge. Such a cool place to stay, we will be booking again

The welcome brownies were a treat! We stayed over new year and were blown away by the character and the beauty of the place... the log fire was a perfect! There was space in abundance, linen and towels plentiful and an added bonus that we were allowed to take our boys to explore the farm. Thank you for a wonderful new year stay x

We had a lovely holiday at Westroose farm house, we were all very comfortable with plenty of space for everyone.. The children, as did the adults enjoyed interacting with the farm animals. The owners were lovely people very helpful and friendly. The weather was not great on our week in Cornwall but it did not spoil it for us as there were plenty of things to do in the area.

Great location, spacious character home with everything we required to prepare evening meals or sit and relax.. Great to see the difference types of birds roaming the grounds especially the peacock.Shirley and George most welcoming and the homemade cake and free range eggs were a nice touch and very enjoyable.

We have stayed at this farm cottage before and it was just as delightful as ever.. There was a delicious cake waiting for us on our arrival. It is such a lovely place to stay. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and we were even kindly given some lovely hen and duck eggs that had been laid on the farm. We had visits from the guinea fowl and peacocks much to our granddaughters delight. Beautiful Widemouth Bay beach is only a short drive away. A wonderful holiday home which hopefully we will be able to return to again one day.

We had a fantastic family holiday , our hosts where brilliant showing our 5 year old around the farm especially seeing the cows getting milked, our 7 year old really enjoyed the home made cakes waiting for us on arrival and the fresh eggs.. Cottage is huge it could easily fit two families and in a great location , we would highly recommend this cottage and hope to return soon. Thank you for a wonderful holiday . Mckeever family

Dealing with Sykes was easy.. The host was very accommodating giving advice about the farmhouse and surrounding area. A nice touch was the welcome cakes. When we had some free time at the farm we were shown around and introduced to the livestock and given an insight to being a dairy farmer. The farmhouse was very large with character. Our party didn't need all the space it provided but it did allow use to feel at home. Our friends from Australia found the quirkiness of the low beams and sloping floors fascinating. We all agreed we had found a gem of a place to stay.

We loved the location of the farm house the quirky layout .. We had plenty of space and we were made to feel very welcome.The farm house has lovely gardens plenty of safe room to play. We made friends with the chickens and our adventures over the fields to the pub will be remembered fondly. Lots of walks and we picked blackberrys and saw loads of birds butterflies birds of prey, learned about cows. Very convenient for beaches with the quiet of the country. The only thing I would add to the Farmhouse would be a tumble dryer.

Very nice 16th century farm house, located on a working farm - but away from the actual farm.. Very nice and helpful owner, pleasant and quiet location, but easily accessible for lots of attractions and locations.
