Located alongside Cornwall’s beautiful northern coast and situated on the River Camel is the ancient market town of Camelford, set between the town’s of Bude and Wadebridge. Camelford is the perfect base for exploring the largest section of Cornwall’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Bodmin Moor, which spans 200 square kilometres and has a mix of wilderness and giant boulders where you can absorb the panoramic views of the countryside. Visit Trebarwith Strand, the closest beach to Camelford, which is home to a variety of water sports including surfing, whilst children can explore the safe rock pools dotted along the beach.
