Amblers rest was a delight, very clean and well equipped.. Minutes from the beach and ten minutes from the town centre. We loved Amble with its shops and the development in the harbour made it an outstanding place to visit, the Harbour Inn was a very friendly pub. We will certainly go back one day.

The cottage was excellent, we can think of nothing that we needed that wasn’t provided.. The beach was at the end of the street as advertised and lots of places to visit within easy travel distance. The owner was friendly and the welcome pack a lovely thought.

We had a very pleasant weekend staying in Amblers Rest .. We would like to thank Mrs Dawson , the owner , for the thoughtful, complimentary ,milk, cake and biscuits in the kitchen , after a long journey to Amble from Peterborough ! Amble is a clean and charming town and the proximity of the sea coast to the cottage is an added bonus .We enjoyed the walk along the coast on Saturday morning . There are lots of nice restaurants, too , within walking distance , so the cottage is conveniently located .

We had a lovely holiday at the Ambler's Rest.. IT is a very cosy ,clean and well equipped cottage. The location is great with a Co-op just round the corner and the beach and park at the end of the road.Turn right from here and you have open grass for the dog or turn left for the path to the market place and high street.Would love to return and would recommend it to anyone
