A well presented, clean and tidy holiday cottage. Set in a lovely location on the owners farm, with a sun trap of a garden, ideal for sitting to admire the view, watch the birds and animals or have a bbq. We had multi generations on an extended family holiday and cottage was warm and cosy with plenty of sitting areas so that if some of the party wanted to play a game, some needed to revise and some wanted to watch tv, all could be accommodated. Owners were friendly and helpful and even left my daughter a birthday card and cake! We had a wonderful week and would thoroughly recommend, thank you!

Garden at rear of bungalow badly needs clearing of nettles.. Not good for the toddlers in our party ! Loved the spacious interior which is well furnished, making our stay very comfortable. Water very unpleasant to drink , it seemed tainted with softener .

The house is beautiful, very spacious.. The surroundings are idyllic and it was fabulous to see the animals. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need, plus a double oven. The only negative we experienced was the double bed. It creaks a lot with the slightest movement and the mattress is very hard with creaking springs.

This is the ideal place for a secluded, quiet getaway.. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, I was forced to cut our plans short but we will definitely be back.

Absolutely brilliant cottage. It's the 4th time we've stayed and we have never been disappointed. Our 1 year old lived watching the tractor out of the window and seeing the cows. We will definately be returning again.

2 Pines Farm Cottages is a superb holiday cottage location and I would highly recommend it.. The cottage was immaculate and the space and facilities were first class. The host went way beyond what I was expecting and even provided a Christmas tree and very tasty Christmas cake! Excellent value for money and my whole family really enjoyed the experience. We would have no hesitation returning to this cottage.

Beautiful barn conversion away from anything on the edge of Ulleskelf.. Loads of space and well furnished and equipped. Loved first morning when I opened my curtains to see a beautiful grey bullock gazing back at me from the barn! Road to access is very bumpy although attempts had been made to fill in potholes. Could do with a sign at the entrance as I thought we were driving into a field! Only real complaint would be that the beds are rather hard, which made sleeping tricky. Otherwise I would definitely recommend

Lovely cottage, very spacious and clean.. Well equipped and comfortable. Road leading to property is very bumpy and unmade so was a bit of a downside, but understand that it is a working farm and to have it improved would be a big job. Watching the cows from several of the windows was a bit hit with my 2 year old grandson.

Only complaints were the very extremely bumpy road up to the farm, and a vey noisy shower unit, apart from that an excellent holiday home, well suited to reach all attractions in an hour..

Had a lovely holiday.. Set on working farm so will not suit everyone but we loved it. Smell and all.

We were there with family, for a Wedding in York, which due to a taxi not arriving and road closures we missed.. The owners of the property were so helpful, told us that there was a train from the next village. They went ahead to get someone to let us through the road closure, and let us follow them across the field. The property itself is spacious, is set in a peaceful location on a working farm. There is plenty of space so so you are not on top of each other. The kitchen is fabulous and a great space for family meals. We also discovered a cupboard with boardgames, a snakes and ladders tournament was a must. The cottage would not suit everyone, but if you like walks and peace, it's perfect. York is close by. FABULOUS HOLIDAY. xx We will be back

Very comfortable cottage on a working farm.. The children loved seeing the cows from their bedroom window and watching ths farmer on his tractor. The cottage was lovely, spacious and very well equipped with items such as a dishwasher and a washing machine easily available. The welcoming treats, coffee/tea and a small pint of milk in the fridge led to a warm welcome after a long journey. Thank you for a wonderful week

The farm is a long way from the road but it did make it very quiet! Ideally situated for so much to do in the area - York, Harrowgate, Leeds etc. Owner very helpful and welcoming and cottage spacious and well appointed. Very warm and cosy with a log burner too! We had a great time with our daughter and grandchildren .

Apart from the cottage having everything one could need,we were greeted by a small tin of homemade cakes which was very welcome after our journey and the means for making tea and coffee.. Wendy, the owner, came to say "hello" which was rather nice but what delighted us more was the fridge outside the farmhouse stocked with an array of homemade goodies, jam, lemon curd, pickled onions, chutney and of course lovely fresh eggs! It was a delight each morning to open the curtains and see the beautiful Limoson cattle and calves! As you can tell,we loved it and would recommend it highly.

The cottage was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean.. The owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome from the start. We also appreciated the little welcome package of tea, coffee, milk and little butterfly buns.

Lovely house and much bigger than it looks from the picture.. Very warm and everything we needed. Only slight downside is the long bumpy track to the farm. Easy to use the Park and Ride to get into York where its free to park

The cottage is very spacious and met all our needs as a party of six seniors.. The proprietor and her family were very welcoming and helpful and if we had not seen the animals we would not have known it was a working farm. We were concerned when we saw an airfield close by but again we noted nothing that would have caused any problems to users of the cottages. I would have no hesitation in recommending Pine Farm Cottages to anyone, young or elderly parties can easily access the premises and without a doubt we will return again.

According to the description it mentioned noise from farm and army base/airport, staying there during summer holidays and harvest season we heard one to two days worth of noise and that was a charity event where people were wing walking on light, small private planes.. We could not heard the farm noise at all. Holiday was excellent, our two year old loved the cows and tractors. Myself like the wildlife we saw. All of us enjoyed the beautiful very spacious accommodation and the lovely baked butterfly cakes that greeted us on arrival. In the cottage phone signal was up and down but this was not an issue possibly due to solar panels on the roof as outside it was fine.

What a super barn conversion, there were only two of us, but we liked the space and having two double bedrooms was the point of renting this particular cottage. The cows were a delight so were the calves. This would be lovely in June, July and say August. It was great when we were there.

Very friendly and welcoming owners, found easily with Sat Nav not so easily with downloaded directions.Very spacious interior, ideal for more than one family. A little smelly from the cess pit. We were here to tour and it was perfect for that not so sure in the summer as right in the center of the farm and a lot of areas out of bounds, which is fair enough as it is a working farm, however if you had small children it could be a problem.Would certainly come back.

While the road in to the property was very rough it was worth it. The cottage is very well renovated and spacious with all the mod cons and wonderfully quiet, unless the odd moo in the morning disturbs you. The hosts were delightful. Would certainly come again (and probably will).
