Situated in the heart of rural Herefordshire and in the picturesque Wye Valley, this town has timbered Tudor houses clustered around the striking 17th century Market Hall, and there are excellent shops, pubs and restaurants to suit every taste. Stroll along the river bank, take a river cruise or view the surrounding countryside from a hot-air balloon. Enjoy trips to Symonds Yat, Hay-on-Wye, the Black Mountains and the Forest of Dean.

Herefordshire offers visitors the chance to journey through lush green countryside, enjoying splendid black-and-white timbered villages, a magnificent cathedral city, a fairytale Georgian castle at Eastnor or books galore in famous Hay-on-Wye.

Lovely setting and great view.. Flat generally great, however toilet seat was ill - fitting and loose, which was very irritating. There really should be a door between toilet and bedroom, and a loo brush available.!

Excellent location, Ross is very nice with good eating and drinking, the cottage was very nice, the view was lovely and the welcome pack very generous..

The apartment was brilliant all round, extremely clean upon arrival and was so nice to receive some fresh food and supplies from the owners! The apartment is really nicely decorated and furnished and was ideally located in the middle of Ross-on-Wye with amazing views of the river! There are some lovely pubs, restaurants and shops nearby too which was great. We spent a number of days walking in the surrounding countryside (Symonds Yat, Garway, Brecon Beacons), all of which are easily reachable from here. I would definitely recommend the apartment to others as a great option and already miss the place! The only recommendation I would make is the addition of a sofa would be great for nights in! Thanks again.

This was a lovely apartment for a couple - it was comfortable and spotlessly clean.. The location was ideal just on the edge of Ross on Wye - everything was in walking distance, shops, bars, restaurants and lovely walks from the doorstep. The welcome pack left by the hosts was extremely generous and very welcome! A lovely stay, thank you.

Ideal location, superb views overlooking the river Wye.. Within easy reach of town centre, good choice of restaurants and pubs. The history of Ross is brought alive with information boards across the town, blue plaques add to your enjoyment as you walk back in time. The riverside walks are a must to enjoy this tranquil location. Look back up the river to Ross town to fully appreciate this little gem in England's crown.
